If you use Wordpress, and are tired of the somewhat dysfunctional administration interface, check out this OSX Tiger-inspired admin plugin OSX Tiger Administration for Wordpress.

This guy has done an amazing job (using only CSS!) to modify the way that the admin interface in Wordpress functions. Unfortunately, it only works in Firefox and Safari, due to IE not fully supporting CSS2. Which is okay most times.

I’ll be updating my blog here with the status of our trip using this handy email to blog feature! I’ll try and post pictures whenever available, but no guarantees, as I think we’ll be using Trina’s "film" camera as my old klunker of a digital camera feeds off of batteries like some sort of digital zombie, laying waste to any rechargeable or lithium batteries it nears.

When doing some quick edits on some of my sites, I used to download the file via FTP, edit it, and then upload it back to the server. I’ve started using WinSCP lately which allows me to logon via an SFTP or SCP and edit files as though they were live on my hard drive. If you’re still using FTP for a similar task, check out WinSCP. It’s freeware, and its great.
