Europe Trip Update
We just got in this morning from our ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm and will be taking a train to Trondheim Norway for the second leg of our trip. The train ride is 12 hours, so we’ll be cathing some zz’s on the way. Since I havenät been updating as much as I thought I would like to to, I figure I’ll update everything when I get back with pictures, and details and all that fun stuff. Trina’s been trying to write journal entries (and I haven’t been able to yet ) so we’ll see if I can remember when we get back on the 28th.
Since we arrived in London we spent a few days seeing the local sights, and then flew by Easyjet.com to Copenhagen, Denmark. We toured around from there and met mike at the train station. 3 or 4 days later we took the train from Copenhagen to Helsingor to see the ‘castle’ there, and then stayed at a 4 star hostel on the beach for a couple days and relaxed. From there we took the free ferry across the water to Göteberg and another train to Stockholm. After four days in Stockholm it was off to Helsinki - where we thought we got a 50% discount on the ferry - turns out something changed and we got to ride the ferry for free. Sweet deals because its overnight and you get a cabin. It also doesn’t count as a travel day on our Scanrail pass, so we still have plenty left.
