Turns out that super-nice apartment I applied for, I got . I have to call and confirm when to move in and all that fun stuff, but as of Sept 1st, i’ll be a resident of Ottawa, and you’ll have to come visit.  Although its not in downtown Ottawa, I’ll be a short drive or bus-ride away from Minglewoods (at their new location!), Holtz Spa and Sante Restaurant, and Owen and Vicki…, Ron,  and Trina’s parents  - I hear they have a wonderful washer and dryer (j/k).

So I’m back from my Scandinavia trip and will have a travelogue up in due time, but right now I’m still recovering from the trip and trying to get back into the swing of things here again. 

I also went out and picked up a Vonage/Linksys PAP2 adapter so that I can get an Ottawa number that should be semi-permanent for when I move there – until then, I can still use it wherever I may be.  I haven’t had time to dig up an extra phone and try it out yet, but its sitting here beside me. I don’t make very many personal calls, and most calls are business related, so I figured that 500 minutes anywhere in canada should be enough, and if it’s not, I can always upgrade; thats like what.. 8+ hours of calls?

Once I’m settled in Ottawa, I’ll hook it up to my Asterisk box, and then I can really start to have some fun with it.

I think the jetlag is finally starting to wear off, it’s about 1am and I’m starting to feel tired again.. so I think I’m going to head to bed.
