Sweet Vehicle Decals

I was just reading an article on how this guy was getting free LEDs for use in homebrew electronics projects from cheap strings of LED Christmas lights, when I noticed this link to his company - JBOT Decals.

I still haven’t figured out the scaling, but it would seem that you can order decals for some pretty cool stuff, for instance, if you’re filming a budget film and need to film a police chase, why not rent an Impala from Enterprise and slap these puppies on?Have a truck? Want to pretend you work for the City of Kingston? Want to scare your friends on a camping trip? Or maybe you need to get somewhere quickly?

Obviously its illegal to drive around in your parents Impala with and pretend to be police or any other type of enforcement, that’s illegal, so I would advise against that.

Update: Just noticed the scaling is miniature sized. But do watch out for elves (especially this time of year) impersonating an officer in their mini Impalas.

This is really cool. The decals are reasonably priced… I could turn my car into the Robocop police car, by painting it black and then getting some sweet decals from JBot. Wow.

OH… I get it now what you meant about scaling. This guy is a model builder or something and these decals are meant for models. Geez. I was so excited and now my dreams are ruined.

I too was excited about the prospect, until I realized the dimensions were in inches, not feet. :(
